June 4, 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The past several days have been full of Graduation and Moving Up events. Congratulations to
the Class of 2026! We are so proud of each of our students and their growth and achievements
this year. Kudos to the students and teachers on an amazing school year. We have all grown
in knowledge and God’s grace. Thank you to Fr. Tom, Fr. Peter, Mrs. Tkacenko, Mrs. Ebert, the
teachers, staff, and multitude of volunteers who have helped to make this school year so
successful.
Report cards and MAP Test Family Reports will be sent home to you with your student on
Thursday, June 11. Please check your child’s backpack for this important information. If for
some reason they do not get home, please contact your child’s teacher.
As you may know, MAP test scores are used to determine eligibility for extra help in the areas of
reading, language, and math. We continue to analyze the scores and make recommendations
for students whose parents/guardians may want them to have extra help in the areas of reading,
language, and/or math. If your child is currently eligible for services, you received a 407-1
form. Please sign and return the 407-1 form to ensure that we are ready to go in the fall. There
has been a change in the way the funding is structured at the state level and having accurate
lists is very important.
I’d like to take a moment to thank Mrs. Dudra, Mr. Giordano, the teachers, office staff, and the
volunteers for helping us have a fantastic Field Day. This year, we changed the locations of a
few activities and noticed a safer and smoother event.
This week we enjoyed our rescheduled Step-Up Grade Level Day on Tuesday. If you recall, we
missed this day during Catholic Schools Week due to snow. Teachers and students had an
opportunity to get to know one another just a bit before summer vacation. Even while we relax
and enjoy the slower pace of summer, we need students to continue to practice their skills. To
that end, teachers will post summer work on their websites and a hard copy of the assignments
will be sent home with each student.
The school office will move to summer hours beginning June 15. The office will be open
Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM - 12:00PM.
As you transition to summer routines and schedules, also please be on the lookout for volunteer
opportunities for parents/guardians from the HSA.
Thank you for your continued support of Catholic Education and our wonderful school.
Wishing you a blessed summer! We’ll see you in September!
Mrs. Theresa Craig, M.Ed.
